ANTONI GRABOWSKI

Antoni Grabowski born 1937 in Lêtownia.
In 1965, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts
In Warsaw at the Faculty of Sculpture. In the same year, he became a member of the Association of Polish Artists. From 1965 to 2004 he was a sculpture teacher at the Antoni Kenar State High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane. From 1982 to 1991 he served as deputy director.
He has been repeatedly awarded for outstanding artistic achievements as well as teaching and education. He creates as a result of observation and interpretation of nature transforms it into the language of sculpture. By "the language of sculpture" he means a new formal reality. The main theme of his works is a dowdy woman, provocatively often dominating a man.
He has presented his works in many solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad.
His sculptures are among others in the collections of the Polish Sculpture Center in Oronsko, the Museum of Jan Kochanowski in Czarnoles, the Royal Łazienki in Warsaw, the Copper Museum in Legnica, the Tatra Museum in Zakopane, the Municipal Art Gallery in Zakopane, in collections in the country
and abroad.

Born in Zakopane in 1967. Studied at the Department of Sculpture at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts from 1986 to 1991. From 1994 to 1995 he was a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship holder at the Academy of Fine Arts
at Düsseldorf.

Since 1992 he has been working, and since 2003 he has led the Sculpture and Drawing Studio at the Faculty of Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, currently as a professor at the university.

In 1992, he was awarded first prize in the Young Polish Artists' Competition for Plastic Work organized by the Representation of the European Economic Community in Poland at the Appendix Gallery.

Since 1999, he has been creating a collection of "Body Prints" of friends, which he presented in the exhibition "War in Man" as "Purgatorium" (Purgatory). He is the author of the installation entitled. "SALIGIA" consists of seven four-meter-high columns - "waniek-waniek". He has to his credit several realizations in urban space such as: The planets of the Solar System under the Copernicus monument in Krakowskie Przedmieście. In 2014, he made a two-meter medallion out of cast iron and bronze dedicated to the "Odyssey of the 2nd Corps," which was mounted on Monte Casino in Italy on the 70th anniversary of the battle. He participated in the 18th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh 2018, and will participate in the 2019 exhibition: From Lopez to Dhaka: Unity in Diversity, An exchange Project"
in NCCA Gallery Republic of the Philippines.
During the Second Sculpture Symposium at the CRPO, he made a 6.5-meter carbon fiber column entitled: "Balance."

JAN GRABOWSKI

A creator working in various styles, media and genres.

He has written, directed, and produced independent short films, both fiction, and documentary. His debut short crime drama, "Initiation" (2013), gained notoriety among the independent Polish film circle, winning, among others, the Grand Prix at the 13th Rybnik Independent Film Presentations "RePeFeNe". From 2016-2018, he was associated with AMONDO Films as a screenwriter, and as a film curator of AMONDO kino.

He studied philosophy at the University of Warsaw, and film directing at the Warsaw Film School. In 2016, he graduated from the Academy of Photography, and in 2017 he was awarded an Artist Scholarship from the City of Warsaw for an original photography project. In 2020, he held a residency at Warsaw's "Propaganda" contemporary art gallery, developing a documentary project using VR technology. In 2021, his short 3D animation "T.W.O.C. 2121" was part of NFT's "Techno Utopias" collection.

In 2021 he was on a student exchange under the ERASMUS+ program at FAMU, a film school in Prague, Czech Republic. In 2022, he will complete his bachelor's degree at the Department of Film Art Organization at PWSFTviT in Lodz, Poland.
