“The concept of a herbarium is simple: it is any book about herbs. Magic creates more problems. Science defines it one way, religion another.”

This Thursday, July 1, at 6:00 p.m., Stefan Kłosiewicz will give a lecture at the K&K Art Gallery. He is the author of, among other books, “Nature in Polish Tradition” and “Sacred, Cursed and Other Birds”; a nature enthusiast and talented photographer whose work has been featured in our gallery more than once.

The lecture will bring audiences closer to the slightly enchanted world of nature, which we have forgotten in the rush of modern life. It will be a wonderful opportunity to discover the secrets hidden in the unassuming elements of the natural world, and also to return to our native Slavic roots and the wisdom of our ancestors.
