This coming Thursday, 15 July, at 6:00 p.m., K&K Art Gallery will host the opening of a jubilee exhibition celebrating the 110th anniversary of the Zakopane District of the Association of Polish Visual Artists.

The exhibition will run until 29 July 2021.

This will be a unique opportunity to view works by several dozen artists from Zakopane, including many well-known figures in Polish culture. Works by both the founding generation and newer generations will be presented, created using a wide variety of techniques—giving visitors the chance to discover the full spectrum of art from the Tatras. Zakopane is famous throughout the country for its distinctive character, shaped by the mystique of the majestic mountains and regional culture. The 110-year history of ZPAP in Zakopane is about more than works of art: it is also about the artists behind them, their ideas and life stories. Over the dozen or so days of this exhibition, we’ll discover them all in our gallery—and we hope you’ll join us!

Art lovers—and everyone else—are warmly invited!
