ANNA FORYCKA- PUTIATYCKA
Anna Forycka-Putiatycka graduated from the Interior Design Department of the State Higher School of Plastic Arts in Poznań, (now the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts). She is a long-time member of ZPAP and IAA/A/AP. He works in painting and printmaking. In my work, I use a variety of techniques. I create thematic cycles:m "Paris", "Landscape", "Gardens", "Trees", "Music", and "Cathedrals"... trying to bring out - through artistic gesture - the beauty of new expression, derived from the tradition of art. In art, the most important thing for her is the spiritual message and the form and style of the workshop. Taking up musical themes, she began to search for codes through which painting can be translated into music - painting takes place in time, and in music the element of movement is important. Also noteworthy are her monotypes and watercolors, in which she makes herself known as a creator of mood and thoughtful composition. Each of these works, consolidated in the logic of its own matter, seems to live its own thought, it's own feeling, its own biology, while thanks to its own logic and coherence, untranslatable into words, it reigns over the ordinary, passive m matter immanent in the technique of paint and the quality of the paper.
She has presented her works in 25 solo exhibitions and 140 group exhibitions at home and abroad. She is the winner of the competition "MUZA" 2015 - in tribute to Prof. ABAKANOWICZ, and winner of PRO II Quadriennale Betesda 2021 and II All-Polish Graphic Art Competition Grafiteka 2019.
Her works can be found in the collections of the Polish Library in Paris, the Institute of Eastern Studies at the University of Warsaw, the Swietokrzyska Philharmonic, the Hospice in Poznan, the Foundation in Time to Help in Warsaw, and in private collections in Poland and abroad.
