Born in Zakopane in 1967. Studied at the Department of Sculpture of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts from 1986 to 1991.
In 1994-1995 he was a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship holder at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf.
Since 1992 he has been working, and since 2003 he has led the Sculpture and Drawing Studio at the Faculty of Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, currently as a professor at the university.
In 1992, he was awarded first prize in the Competition of Young Polish Artists for Plastic Work organized by the Representation of the European Economic Community in Poland at the Appendix Gallery. He is the author of the cast-iron books: "Decalogue" and "Seven Deadly Sins". Since 1999, he has been creating a collection of "Body Prints" of friends, which he presented at the exhibition "War in Man" as "Purgatorium" (Purgatory).
He is the author of the installation entitled. "SALIGIA" consists of seven four-meter high columns - "waniek-waniek". He has to his credit several realizations in urban space such as The planets of the Solar System under the Copernicus monument in Krakowskie Przedmieście. In 2014, he made a two-meter medallion out of cast iron and bronze dedicated to the "Odyssey of the 2nd Corps," which was mounted on Monte Casino in Italy on the 70th anniversary of the battle.
