JERZY JUCZKOWICZ
The artist was born in Opole in 1954. He is a graduate of the Opole High School of Fine Arts, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Department of Sculpture, which he finished with honors in 1981. He sculpts, and also does medals and printmaking. For his achievements, the artist received a medal at the Biennale of Small Sculptural Forms in Poznan and the Grand Prix of the Winter Salon in Warsaw. His best-known achievements include three five-meter bronze statues of Faith, Hope and Love, standing by the Supreme Court in Warsaw, and a wooden altar in the Church of Brother Albert in Weso³a near Warsaw.
