TOMASZ KRZPIET
Art Schools in Lublin. From 2007 to 2012, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Department of Sculpture. In 2012, he received a diploma with distinction in the studio of Prof. Adam Myjak. Since 2014, he has been an assistant in the Bronze Studio at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2022, he received a doctoral degree in art at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 2022, he has led the Bronze Studio at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
He has participated in many individual and collective exhibitions. He has received multiple scholarships from the Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship in the field of artistic creativity and a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
A significant factor for the subject matter of my works is transformation - metamorphosis of organisms. I am interested in the moment of transition from one reality to another, which I try to define by means of form, body and structure in the humanoid creations I bring into existence.
