URSZULA ŚWIĘCICKA
Urszula Święcicka, sculptor, performer, Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. President of ZPAP, Chairwoman of the Sculpture Section. Curator of exhibitions, organizer of lectures and art events.
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Sculpture and the Faculty of Graphic Arts. She received her diploma with honors in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Slonina and in the studio of Prof. Zofia Demkowska, and an appendix in illustration in the studio of Prof. Janusz Stanny. She creates in the field of sculpture, medals, graphics, and experiments with fabric. In Podkowa Leśna she founded PARAWANY Gallery, where she served as program director. She was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art and the Parisian "Culture" and a recipient of the Krystyna and Boleslaw Singler Award, the Jerzy Boniecki Polcul Foundation. At the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw she teaches her original program " Anatomy for Visual Artists". Her works have been repeatedly exhibited at the FIDEM International Biennial of Medallic Art. The artist's sculptures and prints are in museum collections and private collections in Poland and abroad.
